St Oliver’s Primary school is situated in Harris Park, which located near the geographical centre of Sydney, and is part of a system of schools in the Diocese of Parramatta.
St Oliver Plunkett’s values of perseverance and love of God led him to champion peace, reconciliation and acceptance of all in Ireland. These same values live on today in St Oliver’s school. Through the daily work of the teachers, students, parents and church communities, we strive to love God through word and action.
The school celebrates its multicultural community, which is articulated in the school motto: Unity in Diversity. The school crest and the school logo depict the Risen Christ. The centre represents the cross, the doves symbolise peace, and the various sized and coloured circles are symbolic of our diversity in cultures and needs.
At St Oliver's, we strive to provide a Catholic education in a Christ-centred learning environment. Our values and attitudes are based on Gospel values and Catholic traditions. The staff members at our school are enthusiastic and committed to quality teaching and learning, which equips your child as a lifelong learner. They work with dedication to develop the skills and knowledge that enable the students to face new challenges with confidence and enjoyment.
On behalf of our Parish Priest Father Rev Chris De Souza PP, the entire staff at St Oliver's School and the parent community, I invite you to explore our website and find out for yourself what a St Oliver's primary education can offer your child.
