Get Involved

St Oliver’s Primary is a community of staff, students, parents and parishioners who work together to build and develop our great school.

These include attending and/or helping at:
  • Liturgical celebrations
  • Welcome BBQ
  • Sporting events
  • School assemblies
  • Parent - teacher meet and greets
  • Parent - student - teacher conferences
  • Celebration of Learning afternoons
  • Sourcing donations for raffles

  • Mother’s Day breakfast and liturgy
  • Father’s Day breakfast and liturgy
  • Parent education mornings and evenings
  • Catholic Schools Week activities
  • Book Week activities
  • Holy Week activities

Please note that all volunteer workers in schools are required to undergo child protection training. Visit the Parramatta Catholic Education Office website 'Building Child Safe Communities' for more information.

Parents Representative Council

The Parents Representative Council, Parramatta Diocese (PRC), is the Diocesan parent body that represents and supports parents and guardians of students enrolled in all primary and secondary Catholic schools in the Diocese of Parramatta. The PRC works in collaboration with the Bishop, the Catholic Education Office Parramatta, priests, and school leaders in

providing students support throughout their education.

The PRC works collaboratively with schools and parents, to provide additional opportunities for parents to become involved in their child’s school community and learning journey. Parents and carers can gain access to information and educational opportunities via parent forums and guest speakers, allowing parents to become active participants in their child’s schooling.

Meetings are held once a term and provide parents and guardians with the opportunity to network with other parents. Meetings also encourage attendees to share ideas and information relating to supporting the needs of their children throughout their years of schooling.

Contact the School Office to get involved today.
